The primary tool for assigning players is the player's address. Lincoln and the surrounding community are broken into eight districts, represented by each of the eight programs. LYF does not accept team requests. The League cannot tell families which team they will be assigned to — districting boundaries are adjusted each season after nearly all registrations are received in mid July.
